In 2017, we won the first Global Teaching Excellence Award, recognising our commitment to world-class teaching and success in developing students as independent learners and critical thinkers. The awards are organised by the Higher Education Academy and entries were received from five continents.

We’re joint second in the country for National Teaching Fellowships. Think of them like the teaching Oscars – they rate the UK’s best lecturers. It’s part of our drive for teaching excellence, which helps you achieve great things too.

One of the reasons employers have such confidence in our graduates is due to the real-world experience they gain from placements. 100% of our undergraduate students have the opportunity to undertake professional work-related experience during their studies.

We also have an impressive record of graduate employability with 94.6%* of our undergraduate students in work and/or further study within approximately fifteen months of graduating.
