We have a 200-year tradition of training professional horticulturists and we offer many routes into a wide variety of careers in horticulture:

  • Talk to us about work experience, volunteering, internships or T-Level placements
  • Study for an RHS qualification at one of our approved training centres
  • Apply for paid work-based training:
    • Level 2 or Level 3 apprenticeships,
    • 1-year Professional Work Placement in our world-leading gardening teams
    • Level 3 and Level 4 diplomas at our flagship garden RHS Wisley
  • Study remotely for the Level 6 award Master of Horticulture
  • Complete a collaborative PhD or post-doc programme with our Science team
