NHS Business Services Authority is an arm of the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC). Student Services is responsible for administering student funding in the form of the NHS LearningSupport Fund for nursing, midwifery and many allied health professional courses, the NHS Bursary for students in their final years studying to become a doctor or dentist, and Social Work Bursaries for students studying social work at university. In 2022, we made £ 642.8 million in funding payments to help support their studies.
