Our curriculum is designed by the industry for the industry, providing specialist hands-on training in the technical skills required by the creative and cultural sector in the backstage and off stage professions. Our 1 year Level 4 Professional Technical & Production provides an alternative to university and is a direct route into work.

The National College Creative Industries has been founded by leading employers including: Live Nation, the Royal Opera House, the BBC, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Manchester Royal Exchange, the National Theatre, Ambassadors Theatre Group, White Light, BECTU and the Association of British Theatre Technicians (ABTT).

Our award-winning rehearsal and training space provides opportunities for hands-on learning alongside the professionals who rehearse, record and film there. Since September 2016, students have worked with Matthew Bourne’s team on their production of The Red Shoes, a charity single featuring KT Tunstall, Ricky Wilson and had work opportunities with Emeli Sande.
